What price range can you expect at the market?

The Grand Central Market is perfect for the budget-conscious shopper or anyone who’s feeling adventurous and wants to try something new.

Where should you go if you’re hungry now?

You could always stop by Tacoteria Lupita – they have delicious traditional Mexican tacos & their salsas are fresh and spicy! If you are into Italian food, then there is a great place called Grandma’s Deli. They serve sandwiches, salads and soups too!

What are some of your favorite stalls?

I love the fruit stands – it’s so fresh & their prices are unbeatable. Also, I recommend checking out Grandpa Jones’ Tamales that has a variety of tamales like pork chile verde or chicken mole negro! Another one to try is La Chiquita Banana Stand which sells freshly sliced bananas with all sorts of toppings such as honey roasted peanuts, crushed walnuts and coconut flakes. It sounds weird but tastes amazing – you have to give it a shot! Finally there is Rancho Gordo Beans where they sell dried beans from around the world like white kidney beans.
